Chadkirk Dog Training Centre was established in 1981 by Ray Clayton.  Ray has been training dogs for more than 40 years and has competed at the highest level of Dog Obedience classes.  He has trained 2 dogs to championship standard and has competed at Crufts Obedience Championships. Although Ray no longer competes, he has kept a keen interest in obedience and enjoys passing on his knowledge of dog training to others.   

Pet Obedience

We offer a variety of Dog Training classes in the disciplines of Obedience.  We cater for all breeds of dogs and their problems – from puppy classes to Kennel Club Championship Obedience standard.  We run both daytime and evening group classes.

Private lessons, tailored to your dogs specific abilities or problems can also be taken by arrangement.  These can be taken on our own premises at our training centre which benefits from having both indoor and outdoor training facilities.  

All our classes are intended to be enjoyable for both dog and owner and no harsh methods are used at any time.

Chadkirk Boarding Kennels and Cattery

We will provide you with peace of mind, when you travel or spend any considerable time away from your pet, we want you to feel assured that they are in safe caring hands, being looked after by a team who have your pets best interests at heart.  We are fully licenced by Stockport MBC.  We have purpose built kennel and cattery units which vary in size to accommodate single dogs/cats or families of dogs/cats.  The units are heated and your pets have access to open air exercise areas.  All dogs are lead walked and we offer the opportunity for your dog to play with other dogs is you so wish. Viewing is always welcome any day between 1pm and 3pm . Chadkirk Grooming Studio

We offer a superb dog clipping and grooming service. All breeds catered for and each clip is tailored to suit the owners particular needs.   If your dog is boarding with Chadkirk Boarding Kennels then the groom can be arranged as part of the stay and a 10% reduction will be given.  A collect and drop off service is available to non residents.  To arrange a consultation the please call Charlotte on 07725 577184.
